We (Byte Cycle Limited) have designed the Navigr8 watch and phone applications (the “app”) and the Navigr8.com website (the “website”) with your privacy at heart.
We want you to enjoy using our products and appreciate that an important part of that is to feel safe and anonymous. To this end, the app stores all of your data locally on your device (automatically backed up to iCloud if enabled or manually to another device via Airdrop or email.
There is no database on our servers to which you need to subscribe and send your workout data. Navigr8 does offer you the option to subscribe to our newsletter and does this securely using sign in with Apple.
What information does Navigr8 collect and how it is used?
When you sign in with Apple we store the email address assigned to your Apple ID on our back end database. We also store your name. If you sign up to our newsletter then we will send subsequent newsletters to this email address. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking a link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Because we use sign in with Apple you have the opportunity to give us an anonymous email address generated by Apple. This effectively hides your real email address from us and when we send our newsletter to this email address it will be forwarded to you by Apple. Sign in with Apple is very secure and offers a high level of privacy, which is why we only use this method to authenticate you on initial sign up.
We will only collect your personal data when you voluntarily choose to provide us with information, such as when you contact us for support, or inquire about Navigr8 and its products and services.
We will not ask for your personal information unless we need it and we will not share it with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products and services, or protect our rights.
We will not share, rent or resell information concerning Navigr8’s users and visitors of its website to third parties in ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement.
If you decide to send us personal information via e-mail, we will use this information to respond to your e-mail. We will only use the information obtained to resolve the issue identified in the e-mail.
Navigr8 will not sell e-mail addresses.
You may change or request to delete your personal information by contacting support@navigr8.com.
We will not share personal data with third parties, except with your explicit consent, or as required by law, such as; to comply with legal obligations; protect and defend the rights and property of Navigr8; to protect the personal safety of Navigr8’s employees, users or the public; or to protect against any other legal liability.
Personal data or other information may be transferred along with other assets as part of a business transaction, e.g. sale, merger, reorganization, or similar event relating to all or a portion of our business.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive, mobile phone, tablet or other device.
Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information, but Navigr8’s cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may make certain features of our site unavailable to you.
Log Data
Like most standard website servers we automatically collect information from your computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device that your browser sends whenever you visit our site (“Log Data”).
This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on said pages and other statistics.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Exclusions
We cannot and will not be responsible for what third parties do with your personal data or other information that you choose to make publicly available. As such, we advise you to exercise great care in determining what information you choose to make publicly available.
If you do want to share your workouts, ensure you only share with people you know and trust. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk.
Minors
We do not knowingly collect any information of children under the age of 13 and do not target our website to children under 13. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our privacy policy by instructing their children to never provide personal information without their permission. If you have any reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal data to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our database.
Privacy Policy Changes
The services we offer may change from time to time. If we make any changes to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy, these changes will be posted on the site in a timely manner. If we decide to change this privacy policy, it will be posted on the site and other places we deem appropriate. We reserve the rights to update and modify this privacy policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice, so please review it frequently and especially before you provide any personal data.
This privacy policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of Navigr8 and our services after any changes or revisions to this privacy policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised privacy policy.
