Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 April 2024; effective 29 April 2024

We (Byte Cycle Limited) have designed the Navigr8 watch and phone applications (the “app”) and the website (the “website”) with your privacy at heart.

We want you to enjoy using our products and appreciate that an important part of that is to feel safe and anonymous. To this end, the app stores all of your data locally on your device (automatically backed up to iCloud if enabled or manually to another device via Airdrop or email.

There is no database on our servers to which you need to subscribe and send your workout data.

Navigr8 does offer you the option to subscribe to our database to enable you to be authenticated when accessing third party services (such as Strava®) and does this securely using sign in with Apple.

What information does Navigr8 collect and how it is used?

When you sign in with Apple we store the email address assigned to your Apple ID on our back-end database along with your name.

Because we use sign in with Apple you have the opportunity to give us an anonymous email address generated by Apple. This effectively hides your real email address from us and when we send our newsletter to this email address it will be forwarded to you by Apple. Sign in with Apple is very secure and offers a high level of privacy, which is why we only use this method to authenticate you on initial sign up.

If you sign up to our newsletter then we will send subsequent newsletters to your email address associated with your Apple ID. You can sign out/sign in at any time going to Settings>Account & Integrations on the iPhone app. Please note that when signed out third party integrations will no longer work.

We will only collect your personal data when you voluntarily choose to provide us with information, such as when you contact us for support, or inquire about Navigr8 and its products and services.

We will not ask for your personal information unless we need it and we will not share it with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products and services, or protect our rights.

We will not share, rent or resell information concerning Navigr8’s users and visitors of its website to third parties in ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement.

If you decide to send us personal information via e-mail, we will use this information to respond to your e-mail. We will only use the information obtained to resolve the issue identified in the e-mail.

Navigr8 will not sell e-mail addresses.
